Horrific Crime Shakes Lebanon: A Mother and Her Three Daughters Were Killed and Buried

On Friday morning, the Lebanese security services found the bodies of a mother and her three daughters, who had been missing in the town of Ansar since the beginning of this month. Their bodies were found in an orchard located between the towns of Ansar and Al-Zararia.

Sources indicate that the girls are M.S. (16 years old), R. S. (22 years old), and T. S. (20 years old). They went out with their mother B.A., who is the divorcee of the town’s mayor Z. Safawi. They went missing 25 days ago, and investigations showed that they were accompanied by H.G. Fayyad (36 years old), and since that day they have disappeared.

After their father filed a claim before security authorities regarding the disappearance of his family, the South and Nabatieh intelligence branches conducted extensive investigations and arrested the suspect, Fayyad. Since yesterday afternoon, patrols have been conducting a massive search of the area between the towns of Ansar and Al-Zararia, which is an area of citrus orchards.

Fayyad admitted to having carried out a mass murder of the family and that he buried the girls and their mother in the orchard. The search process faced rainy weather and darkness and was resumed this morning. The area where the four bodies were found has been identified, and ambulances headed to the scene, where units of forensic evidence and army intelligence examined them.
